The Easter Bunny Was Arrested For Drug Possession:
If you noticed something about your Easter seemed off yesterday, here it is. The EASTER BUNNY was arrested for DRUGS.
Well . . . as far as we know, it wasn't the actual Easter Bunny. It was 24-year-old Joshua Lee Bolling of Danville, Virginia . . . who dresses up as the Easter Bunny to take photos with kids at the Piedmont Mall in Danville.
On Thursday, some mall workers complained to security that the Easter Bunny was acting STRANGE. During one of his breaks, the mall cops tailed him . . . no pun intended . . . and found him with illegal prescription drugs.
Fortunately, no children were hurt. And apparently, all the reports of his strange behavior were during his breaks, NOT when he was taking photos with the kids.
Police came and escorted him away from the scene so the kids wouldn't have to see the Easter Bunny getting arrested. He's been charged with illegal possession of prescription narcotics.
A Woman Was Arrested For Attacking Her Boyfriend When He Refused To Have Sex . . . and She's Not Ugly:
Meet 18-year-old Inez Nunez.
Last week, Inez and her boyfriend were at home and she wanted to have sex. He turned her down and called her UGLY.
Not to justify violence . . . but she understandably got angry and shoved him to the ground for saying that and started SLAPPING HIM.
His dad . . . who was also in the house at the time . . . called 911. Inez was arrested for domestic battery.
A Red Lobster Waitress is Attacked For Bringing a Table the Wrong Order:
NEVER underestimate how seriously some people take their shrimp scampi and Cheddar Bay biscuits. Back on December 30th, at a Red Lobster in Fairview Heights, Illinois, a waitress was ATTACKED for bringing a table the wrong order.
20-year-old Ania Wilkes of Ferguson, Missouri was recently arrested and charged with felony aggravated battery and mob action. The waitress suffered cuts on her face and a swollen eye.
Six Habits of Skinny People:
Around 80% of people who lose weight by dieting end up gaining it back within two years. And a lot of them end up heavier than they were before. Obviously, the secret to staying thin LONG-TERM is exercise.
But that's definitely not the only factor. Here's a list from Yahoo of six habits skinny people have.
#1.) Don't Skip Breakfast. You've probably heard this before, but when you skip meals, your metabolism slows down. And people who don't eat breakfast are almost five times more likely to be obese.
#2.) Drink a Lot of Water. Researchers at Virginia Tech found that people who drank two glasses of water before a meal ate a lot less than they would have.
And compared to people who DIDN'T drink two glasses of water, they lost 30% more body fat over the course of three months.
#3.) Weigh Yourself Every Day. I'm not sure it's something "skinny people" do in general. But it's something you should try if you WANT to be skinny.
A lot of diet plans tell you to weigh yourself once a WEEK. But according to a study at the University of Minnesota, weighing yourself every day is more effective.
#4.) Don't Eat in Front of the TV. It's referred to as "mindless eating," and a study at Cornell found you consume 40% more calories when you do it.
#5.) Stop Worrying So Much. A ton of studies have linked weight gain with stress. And people with CHRONIC stress specifically tend to gain more weight around their waist.
#6.) Get Enough Sleep. Sleep and stress basically go hand in hand. Most of us require seven to eight hours of sleep a night, and if you get less than that, you're more likely to start gaining weight.
The good news is, if you normally get five hours a night . . . then you start getting seven . . . you should start losing weight, even without exercising.
