WEST HAVEN, Conn. -- Police in West Haven, Conn., say they are looking for a suspect who allegedly robbed a store with a hand saw.

The robbery happened at Sam's Food Mart early Sunday, The Hartford Courant reported.

Police received a report that a masked suspect allegedly entered the store, pulled out a hand saw, threatened a store employee and then stole the store's cash register, police said.

The suspect fled the scene, police said.

Police said they are looking for Michael L. Peterson, 34, in connection with the robbery.
