I'm not one for frivilous lawsuits...but I believe I see one on the horizon. How did they come to the conclusion to use this bottle?
Here's how I think this conversation went:
Bottle Salesman - "You know, I can get you guys a really good deal on bottles for that new cleaner you're trying to market."
Cleaner Developer - "Aren't those just empty 1-gallon Gatorade bottles?"
Bottle Salesman - "Yes, BUT we'll put YOUR lables on them. Like this."
Cleaner Developer - "That still looks a LOT like some kind of knockoff Gatorade. Plus, you know our product is purple. Looks pretty similar."
Bottle Salesman - "Don't worry, we'll put a warning lable really small at the bottom. Plus, kids these days are WAY more advanced. They learn to read really young. We'll even put it in Spanish if it makes you feel better."
Cleaner Developer - "Are you sure we should still call it 'Lavendar Passion' still? Sounds a lot lie Purple Passion. That might confuse some people,"
Bottle Salesman - "Ever heard of natural selection?"
Cleaner Developer - "How good of a deal are we talking here?"
